In the military they call “attention” when an officer enters a room. At a particular concert you might have heard “Elvis has left the building.” But better than all of that is the fact that when we gather the Lord is in the building! The Spirit showed up at Pentecost to indwell the “church”! He is in the “building”! The Lord our God has given us His Spirit and when He showed up, He showed up in an amazing way! God is in the building!
